Entry four-cylinder type of the separate Max- and Paul-Cudell Berlin operation. It was not an Aachen 12 HP twin transferred after bankruptcy: the Berlin listing specifies four cylinders and the Aachen company repeatedly denied corporate connection. Cudell & Co. and Leo Koelbing formed Cudell-Motoren-Gesellschaft on 27 October 1906, and automobile building was abandoned during 1907 as engines and carburetors became the focus. The available evidence secures the 12/14 rating but no chassis dimensions, drivetrain, bodies, price or exact individual production span, so the firm-wide 1904–07 window is explicitly qualified.
