CudellCudell Twin 12 HP / Doktor-Spezialwagen
Larger and longest-lived of Cudell's own twin-cylinder passenger families. The dark-blue Doktor-Spezialwagen shown in Berlin in March 1903 used interchangeable coachwork so the same chassis could operate as a two-seater, phaeton or coupé; it is therefore a named body system within the 12 HP model rather than another mechanical row. Ten/twelve-horsepower omnibus bodies were also advertised. Period programs place the 12 HP from 1902 through 1905, but publish no dependable displacement, wheelbase, annual revisions, prices or serial allocation. A separate 10 HP twin appears most securely as the purpose-built postal delivery vehicle and is cataloged in that commercial identity.
Dates with their meaning intact
This record contains useful sourced evidence, but it does not yet meet the reference-ready standard. Still needed: attributed imagery. Fields we cannot source stay empty rather than guessed.
No 12 HP or Doktor-Spezialwagen output is published; body interchangeability does not establish separate production series.
