Final-platform coupe, created after Avanti replaced discontinued GM F-body foundations with Ford Mustang units. A longer new Mustang platform was adopted for the 2006 model year as manufacture transferred from Georgia to Cancún, Mexico. Public material sometimes labels unsold cars as 2007, but physical production ended in 2006 and later titling does not establish another manufacturing year.
