AVanti eXperimental restyle commissioned by Jim Bunting from original Avanti designer Tom Kellogg and constructed by Bill Lang. These were physical road vehicles rather than drawings, bridging the 1991–99 production hiatus and directly informing the revived 2000 car. They are grouped as one three-body experimental lineage because the underlying design and program were shared.
