Stephen Blake-era modernization that dropped the 'II' suffix and introduced rectangular headlamps, body-color Kevlar bumper covers and a revised cabin while retaining the Studebaker-derived chassis. The Touring Coupe was a blackout/body-color-trim specification within this lineage, not a separate base body. No cars were completed in 1986 after Blake's company failed.
