ClassTwo-door fiberglass fastback grand-touring coupe

Independent continuation created by Nate and Arnold Altman and Leo Newman after buying Studebaker's Avanti name, tooling, parts and South Bend facilities. Hand-built cars retained the Studebaker-derived frame and fiberglass form but replaced Studebaker power with Chevrolet V8s, deleted the supercharger and generally adopted a more luxurious bespoke interior. Annual engine tune and equipment varied, so the lineage is not split into unsupported model-year pseudo-models.
