Open version of the final Ford-based Avanti, built first in Georgia and then at Cancún. The 2006 platform's longer wheelbase increased cabin space and changed ride and handling. Production ended amid the company's financial collapse; later website references to 2007 cars describe inventory/model designation rather than securely documented post-2006 assembly.
