Alexandre Darracq's first documented powered road vehicle, displayed in December 1896 with a closed passenger compartment and an elevated driver behind it. Period reporting gives a 400 kg Fulmen battery, roughly 1,200 kg complete weight, 20 km/h maximum and about 60 km at a 15 km/h average. Surviving sources alternate Darracq, Perfecta and Darracq-Perfecta for these earliest products; the qualified name preserves that transition without creating a global Perfecta alias. It was an exhibition prototype, not evidence of an electric production range.
