ClassTwo-seat reverse-trike roadster
Two-front/one-rear-wheel sports trike designed by Berry and Ibbotson around Honda CX motorcycle mechanicals. James Mather bought the project in 1996, lengthened the cockpit four inches and revised the body panels, steering, suspension and gear linkage. Its spaceframe carried double-wishbone coil-over front suspension using Cortina uprights and Escort rack, while the donor supplied engine, gearbox, shaft drive, swingarm, rear wheel and ancillaries. BRA made its own wishbones, steering column, pedal box, linkage and modified propeller shaft, with GRP nose/scuttle/tail/cycle wings and aluminium bonnet and side panels. The last confirmed factory CX3 left North Wales for New Zealand in September 2002; sale of the project to East Sussex is not proof of later production. One ST1100 car exceeded 120 mph.

BRA records about ten early chassis plus roughly 100 revised cars/kits from 1996–2002; other retrospective estimates range from about 50 to 130 or 250, so no exact total is asserted.
