Cutting1913 Model A-40
Two-seat member of Cutting's final simplified 40 Series, called a torpedo runabout in the compiled model table and Roadster in the period-derived price table. Motor Age-derived specifications give 120-inch wheelbase, 251.3-cu-in L-head four, 25.6 ALAM rating, three main bearings, pressure lubrication to all bearings except the wrist pin, dual ignition, water-pump cooling, cellular radiator, disc clutch, 36x4 tires and $1,475. The corporate reorganization and receivership do not erase this evidenced final model year.
Dates with their meaning intact
This record contains useful sourced evidence, but it does not yet meet the reference-ready standard. Still needed: attributed imagery. Fields we cannot source stay empty rather than guessed.
No surviving factory chassis ledger or model allocation has been recovered. Contemporary sales and competition evidence proves manufacture, but neither marque-wide nor model-specific production totals are asserted.
