Autotrix4 HP
Smaller of Edmunds and Wadden's two Autotrix cyclecars, built at The Quadrant in Weybridge near Brooklands. Driver and passenger sat side by side in a light cane body upholstered in red. The JAP engine was mounted at the front beneath the fuel tank and drove the single rear wheel by belt. Published Olympia description gives approximately 280 lb weight, a 650 x 65 mm rear tyre and 26 x 2½-inch front tyres. It is not a Brooklands motorcycle model even though the firm advertised both badges in one catalog.
Dates with their meaning intact
This record contains useful sourced evidence, but it does not yet meet the reference-ready standard. Still needed: attributed imagery. Fields we cannot source stay empty rather than guessed.
No chassis total survives; contemporary accounts describe low-volume manufacture.
