The Armangué brothers' original development car, built at Talleres Juanico before the David company was constituted. Its ash longitudinal chassis members were steel-clad, with twin transverse front leaf springs, rear cantilever springs and cable steering. It debuted in an April 1914 Barcelona regularity trial but retired after a tire left its rim. Later claims of an original JAP V-twin conflict with the RACE monograph's single-cylinder specification and are retained only as possible subsequent test fitments.
