Shorter of Cubitt's two final types, distinguished from the L4 by its 10 ft 1 in/3,073 mm wheelbase, 4.125:1 axle ratio, 30 x 5.25 tyres, £260 chassis price and £335 complete-car listing. Both 1925 chassis used four-speed gearboxes, a revised lower frame and radiator, aluminium pistons, lighter connecting rods, an underslung worm and long semi-elliptic rear springs. A two-seat body with dickey is the best evidenced K4 configuration; broader body assignments in retrospective summaries are not treated as confirmed factory segmentation. K4 is separated from the L4 because the surviving schedule documents real dimensional, gearing, wheel and price differences, not merely a coachwork code. The model's brief year ended when a creditor obtained the compulsory winding-up order in June 1925.

This record contains useful sourced evidence, but it does not yet meet the reference-ready standard. Still needed: attributed imagery. Fields we cannot source stay empty rather than guessed.

Research notes

Included in the marque's approximately 3,000 vehicles; no K4-only output total or complete chassis ledger survives.
