The 1924 program significantly lowered the frame while retaining Cubitt's established side-valve 2.8-litre four, and strengthened the crankshaft and bearing area. Its 10-foot/3,048 mm wheelbase, four-speed gearbox and worm axle continued; a retrospective schedule gives the final-drive ratio as 4.7:1. Period copy promoted easier access, wide doors, sliding seats, low-pressure tyres and, on the special four-door tourer, a new radiator. The two-seater's dickey lid doubled as a V-shaped rear windscreen; closed choices included saloon, saloon-limousine and landaulette. The bare chassis cost £310 and complete cars approximately £335–£550 depending on coachwork. Later correspondence assigns K, F, L and M letters to the year's cars, but does not prove four separate mechanical platforms and conflicts with earlier use of Model K. They are therefore recorded together as order/body codes on the same lowered series. The 1924 changes were chassis and detail revisions, not the supposed conversion from overhead to side valves repeated by derivative histories.
