Opening powered Beeston lineage and one of Britain's earliest manufactured motor vehicles. The single steerable front wheel and engine between the driven rear wheels followed De Dion-Bouton practice. A lower-frame form introduced at the end of 1898 accommodated riders in contemporary women's dress; it remains a frame configuration rather than a separate mechanical model. Period London-to-Brighton participation claims conflict with the surviving entry list and are preserved as uncertainty.
