Recorded originUnited Kingdom
ClassFour-wheel open quadricycle

Four-wheel derivative of the motor tricycle, replacing its single front wheel with two front wheels and placing a passenger seat between them. F. R. Simms specified a surviving/photographed example carrying a Maxim gun, an important precursor to armoured motor vehicles; that weapon installation is a commissioned configuration, not a separate production model.
