Early De Riancey front-wheel-drive concept in which the motorized, steering front axle replaced the horse under an existing or purpose-built rear body. Baudry de Saunier gives 180 kg for the contemporary mechanism/car, while a later description gives 230 kg, two seats and 5,500 francs; a separate advertisement gives 3,500 francs. These conflicts are preserved rather than reduced to one false exact specification.
