Recorded originFrance
ClassHistoric cyclecar
Power7 hp
Only defensible De Marçay automobile family. The factory advertised an immediately available voiturette-cyclecar with neither chain nor belt, emphasizing its car-like shaft drive. Three normal 7 HP cars entered the 1921 Paris–Nice trial, where Benoist and Pullin earned gold medals; they were not a separate 1,100 cc competition type. Exact 987 cc, rounded 1,000 cc and the event's 1,100 cc class ceiling are not multiplied into models.

How this is measured → This record contains useful sourced evidence, but it does not yet meet the reference-ready standard. Still needed: attributed imagery. Fields we cannot source stay empty rather than guessed.
Research notes
No output or chassis ledger survives; three 1921 Paris–Nice entries and road advertisements prove multiple cars.
