Best-documented Clyde, represented by Leicester Museums' 1908 'Old Grey Mare' and another extensively documented survivor. Its unusual rear-mounted gearbox/chain arrangement and demountable tail allowed passenger or commercial use. The 905 cc/50 km/h figures come from a secondary catalog and are retained with that provenance rather than presented as museum-certified specifications.

This record contains useful sourced evidence, but it does not yet meet the reference-ready standard. Still needed: attributed imagery. Fields we cannot source stay empty rather than guessed.

Research notes

No model split; one museum car and two additional Clyde survivors are reported overall.
