Louis Bonneville and A. Cazeneuve's convertible Train-Cycle adapted a conventional De Dion-Bouton motor tricycle by replacing its single front fork with a steerable two-wheel forecar axle, creating a two-seat four-wheeler; the original fork could be refitted. A one-axle two-seat passenger trailer created the documented four-person road train, while some examples instead carried an additional front seat. Cazeneuve supplied a manually selected change-speed system for climbing. La Locomotion Automobile described the design on 6 January 1898. The 1897–1900 bounds reflect Bonneville's documented automobile-production window, not proof that this exact configuration was built in every intervening year.
