Arzani and Volpini rebuilt a used Milano-Maserati chassis with revised engine and Carrozzeria Colli bodywork. It raced at Pau in 1955, where Mario Alborghetti was killed, and qualified for the Italian Grand Prix but did not start due to engine trouble. Later Volpini Formula Junior/F3 cars are a separate post-1958 lineage.
