Cournil prototype prepared for the 1980 Dakar and entered again in 1982 by Yann Milliez and Pierre Duvoy as number 219. It is kept separate from the production type codes because its engine, chassis changes, results and rebuild chronology remain incompletely documented. A production-based SCD28 also entered in 1982 and remains a competition use of the SCD28 rather than another model.
