Compact off-road-focused buggy with body shortened about 30 cm through reduced overhangs and a 10 cm shorter wheelbase, improving approach and departure angles. It introduced a rear skirt protecting the engine. BS, standard, luxury and mud-tyred off-road trims were offered. A later M-8 was lengthened 30 cm but retained the name; it is unrelated to the much larger M-8 Long introduced in 2002.
