Class4X4 light tactical truck
Bravia's light four-wheel-drive truck combined Iberian Ebro/Barreiros running gear with locally engineered body and chassis work. A 1969 Dodge-based experimental vehicle preceded the type offered to the Portuguese Army in the early 1970s and the more broadly marketed 1975 model. Military descriptions identify a roughly 500 kg tactical payload; much larger figures in unsourced summaries are not treated as the rating of the same configuration. The adaptable chassis subsequently served cargo, municipal and fire-brigade roles. Its short-wheelbase architecture also underpinned the armored Commando Mk III, which remains a separate named vehicle family.
