BR Engineering's first car and the first Russian-developed prototype homologated for the international LMP2 class. Paolo Catone led a multinational design team after the project began in 2013; the first complete car tested in February 2015 and the model debuted competitively at Imola that May. Its carbon-fibre-skinned aluminium-honeycomb monocoque and body were manufactured with Italian specialist ARS Tech. A transverse six-speed paddle-shift Hewland TLSR gearbox, AP Racing hydraulic carbon clutch, double-wishbone pushrod suspension and carbon brakes completed the rear-drive chassis. The BR01 earned LMP2 podiums and a class podium at Le Mans, raced through the 2016 WEC/ELMS and Daytona programs, then became ineligible for the restricted 2017 LMP2 constructor rules. Historic racing does not extend its production years.

Research notes

Eight BR01 chassis are reported built; later Masters Endurance Legends activity is continued use of those cars, not new production.
