Designer André Py displayed his prototype at the first Paris automobile salon in 1898, then helped establish Compagnie des Automobiles du Sud-Ouest at Angoulême to manufacture it in 1899. The sole 3½ CV voiturette superficially resembled Léon Bollée's tricycle but used front-wheel drive and a single steering wheel at the rear. Its single-cylinder engine and three-speed gearbox gave advertised speeds of roughly 8, 18 and 30 km/h. Seating is variously documented as tandem, vis-à-vis or dos-à-dos. Production ended in 1900 after only a small, unquantified run.
