Wacker Neuson traces its history to Johann Christian Wacker's blacksmith workshop in Dresden, founded in 1848. The business developed electric rammers, concrete vibrators, compactors, excavators and other light construction equipment, and adopted the Wacker Neuson group identity through later corporate development and mergers. The catalog retains Wacker Neuson as an admitted equipment identity rather than a passenger-vehicle marque, and distinguishes the modern group from its Wacker and Neuson predecessor brands.
