Wabash

Wabash National Corporation was created in Lafayette, Indiana, in 1985 by transportation-industry professionals seeking to apply new materials and manufacturing methods to semi-trailers. Beginning as a dry-van trailer producer, it expanded through product development and acquisitions into refrigerated and platform trailers, truck bodies, tank trailers, composite materials and related services. The company later unified its family of product brands under the Wabash name.
