Verona Automobile was founded in Germany in 1988 after Jürgen Warmuth acquired rights to an Apollo Motor Cars roadster body and developed a tubular chassis. The resulting Verona Cabriolet and Roadster used BMW six- and eight-cylinder engines and were produced in very small numbers through a sequence of Verona and E.S.W. companies; the final Verona Automobile AG was deleted from the register in 1998. The catalog keeps Verona separate from Ford's Brazilian Verona sedan and from the city of Verona.
