Transcraft/Wabash is a platform-trailer identity, not a passenger-car marque. NHTSA's manufacturer record associates the label with Transcraft Corporation and lists combo steel/aluminum and steel flatbed models. Wabash National acquired Transcraft in 2006, describing Transcraft as one of the largest U.S. manufacturers of flatbed and drop-deck trailers; Wabash later added Benson aluminum platform trailers and consolidated platform production in Cadiz, Kentucky. The catalog keeps Transcraft/Wabash separate from Wabash Tanks and from Benson because the source labels represent distinct trailer product families. No unsupported automobile, founding date for the original Transcraft company, production total or model chronology is inferred from the registry record.
