Tarpan was a Polish utility-vehicle identity developed for the Fabryka Samochodów Rolniczych “Polmo” in Poznań. The first information series left the factory in December 1972, followed by production of pickups, vans and four-wheel-drive utility vehicles from 1973 until 1995, including later Honker-related development. The catalog keeps Tarpan separate from the FSR factory, Honker successor phases and unrelated uses of the word for a Polish horse breed.
