Sumec

SUMEC is a Chinese machinery and equipment group within SINOMACH, whose official history traces its predecessor to the Jiangsu branch of China Machinery and Equipment Export Company in 1978. The organization developed through machinery, engineering, electromechanical and international-trade businesses, with the SUMEC brand established in 1989 and the group renamed SUMEC Group Corporation in 2012. NHTSA-derived labels Rocker and Mod are not enough to prove that the group operated a distinct road-vehicle consumer marque; they may reflect an equipment, importer or registry identity. The catalog therefore preserves SUMEC as a source make while clearly separating the industrial/export group from any unrelated motorcycle or automobile company and avoiding an invented vehicle production history.
