Stuart Taylor Motorsport took over the Midtec Sports Cars production program in 2001 and developed lightweight seven-style kit cars including the Loco Blade, which used motorcycle engines such as the Honda Fireblade. The company also supplied race and road-going chassis and supported the Locost competition scene. From 2007 Aries Motorsport continued the Loco concept as Aries STM Loco, so the catalog treats Stuart Taylor as the original British identity and keeps the Aries successor separate.
