Strathcarron Sports Cars was a British low-volume manufacturer based in Hove, East Sussex, that brought the motorcycle-engined SC-5A and related SC-6 to market around 1999–2001. The lightweight cars used Reynard engineering, composite bodywork and Triumph motorcycle power, but changes to UK Single Vehicle Approval rules forced an expensive powertrain rethink. Financial difficulties ended the company before the planned production run could scale; the catalog keeps Strathcarron separate from later kit-car derivatives such as the Marlin 5EXi.
