Skywell New Energy Automobile Group was founded in China in 2011 and grew from the reorganization of Nanjing Golden Dragon bus operations into a producer of electric buses, logistics vehicles, special-purpose vehicles and passenger cars. Its Skywell passenger-vehicle line includes the BE11, while the group also operates commercial-vehicle and component businesses and has exported to numerous markets. The catalog keeps Skywell distinct from the Skyworth consumer-electronics group, the later Skyworth Auto badge and overseas importers.
