Fiberglass specialist Alf Evans, previously associated with Glass-Fibre Laminations in the 1960s, founded A. Evans Mouldings at Stourbridge in 1979. Cars and kits were sold under the Scorpion badge. The marque's only design placed an open fiberglass body resembling the MG TF on a Triumph Spitfire or Herald chassis; kits started at £1,775. Just three examples were produced before manufacture ended in 1981. This qualified name separates the lineage from unrelated British Scorpion manufacturers run by Humberstone and Innes Lee.
