Ford and Fordson dealer Georges Didier began manufacturing cars at Colombey-les-Belles in 1925 to designs by Robert Serf, whose name became the marque. The core 7 CV used an in-house 1.47-litre side-valve four and supported sports, touring, saloon, hatchback-like commercial and small-truck bodies made by local carriage builders; about seventy were built. A 600 cc two-stroke 4 CV two-seater followed in 1932 with roughly ten produced. A front-wheel-drive prototype using that engine appeared in 1935, when car manufacture ended, although Didier's wider business survived until about 1942.
