Richelieu Motor Car Corporation was organized in Asbury Park, New Jersey, in October 1921 by former Duesenberg executives N. G. Rost and William Beckman. Its only model, the T-85, appeared at the 1921 New York automobile show and was built as a large, Fleetwood-bodied touring car and roadster during 1922–23. The company never reached sustainable scale and disappeared after this brief run; the catalog keeps Richelieu separate from Revere, Duesenberg and other contemporaneous marques using related engineering.
