QJMOTOR was launched in 2020 as a new premium marque of Zhejiang Qianjiang Motorcycle, whose manufacturing lineage began with the Wenling motorcycle factory in 1985. Qianjiang had become part of Geely in 2016 after earlier growth that included its 1999 stock-market listing, millionth motorcycle and acquisition of Benelli. QJMOTOR extended that industrial base into motorcycles, scooters, electric two-wheelers and all-terrain vehicles for Chinese and international markets, while entering Moto3, Moto2 and World Supersport competition.
