Jinan Qingqi Motorcycle Co., Ltd. was established in China in 1956 and grew into a major producer of mopeds, motorcycles, quadbikes, engines and electric two-wheelers. It began technical work with Suzuki in the 1980s, formed a Suzuki joint venture in 1996 and later partnered with Peugeot, while also exporting through overseas subsidiaries and license partners. The catalog uses Qingqi for the Chinese manufacturer and keeps the separate Jiangmen, Pakistan and other Qingqi-named companies from being treated as one legal entity without evidence.
