Panther Westwinds was founded in Surrey by Robert Jankel in 1972. It built hand-finished cars combining retro-inspired coachwork with contemporary mass-produced mechanical components, including the J72, De Ville and Lima. After receivership and Korean ownership, the company pursued newer designs such as the Kallista and Solo before production ended around 1990.
