The Oka was a Soviet-designed city microcar developed through VAZ and assigned for production at KamAZ's small-car operation and the Serpukhov plant. Series production began in 1987, continued through the ZMA and SeAZ factories after the Soviet period, and included invalid-carriage derivatives and later Chinese-powered versions. SeAZ stopped regular production in 2008 after demand and emissions problems made the program uneconomic. The catalog treats Oka as the model identity and keeps its VAZ, ZMA and SeAZ production phases distinct from the Lada and KamAZ marques.
