Alan Langridge incorporated Alan Langridge Engineering Limited at Chichester, West Sussex, in July 1983 and began offering cars and kits under the Navajo badge in 1984. Its sole model was an open leisure vehicle in the spirit of the Mini Moke. A Zintec steel monocoque accepted an Austin or Morris 1100/1300 front subframe and matching four-cylinder powertrain, while fiberglass was confined to the bonnet. The kit was advertised at £995 including tax. Production ended in 1986 after approximately twenty examples, completing the company's documented automobile range.
