North American Bus Industries was established in 1992 after the acquisition of Ikarus USA interests by Hungarian investors. NABI built standard, articulated and low-floor transit buses, with structures initially produced in Hungary and final assembly in Alabama. New Flyer acquired the company in 2013 and ended NABI-branded production in 2015.
