More off-road-oriented development of the Mosquito concept and Hollier's second public marque/model identity. Its Austin Maxi powertrain distinguished it mechanically from the Mini-engined Mosquito, while the chassis and body were adapted for greater rough-ground capability. No dependable source supports separate Mountaineer generations, engine variants, dimensions, performance or price. Production ended with C. L. Hollier Services in 1993.
