Mia Electric emerged in 2010 from the electric-vehicle activities of Heuliez in Cerizay, France. Its compact, center-driving-position vehicle was offered as a short passenger car and extended utility or multi-seat versions. Production began in 2011 but weak sales and financial problems led to liquidation in 2014 after manufacturing had stopped.
