Mercedes-Benz Vans is a business unit and product identity within Mercedes-Benz rather than an independently incorporated passenger-car marque. Its modern history is anchored by the Vito and the Sprinter, launched in 1995, building on the earlier T1/TN commercial-van lineage. The catalog retains the admitted Mercedes-Benz Vans label for Vito records and does not treat it as a separate company from Mercedes-Benz Group or merge it with unrelated van converters and body builders.
