Chery launched iCAR as an independent new-energy vehicle brand in April 2023, initially targeting electric SUVs and younger buyers. The iCAR 03 began sales in 2024, followed by the V23 and the range-extended V27; export markets use the iCAUR spelling in some jurisdictions. The catalog records iCAR as a Chery sub-brand rather than a separate automaker and keeps it distinct from Apple-related uses of “iCar,” older Chery trademark experiments and the later iCAUR export badge.
