Accary et Compagnie was founded in Paris in 1894, initially producing automobile accessories and later complete chassis. Full-car manufacture began in 1913 under the Accary name and then Hedea or Hédéa. The range comprised six front-engined, rear-drive chassis with side-valve Chapuis-Dornier fours of 1,460, 1,795, 2,120, 2,296, 2,994 and 3,014 cc, offered with two- or four-seat touring and coupé de ville bodies. Production stopped in 1914. The qualified Hédéa identity preserves both source-attested badges while separating the manufacturing concern from similarly named firms.
