Graham-Paige was founded in 1927 in Evansville, Indiana, by brothers Joseph, Robert and Ray Graham after they acquired the Paige-Detroit Motor Company. It built Graham passenger cars and trucks, with automobile production ending in 1940 before a postwar return through the 1947 Frazer and the Kaiser-Frazer partnership. Kaiser acquired the automotive assets in 1947, while the Graham-Paige corporate name continued in other activities until 1962. The catalog uses Graham-Paige for the Graham-era cars and keeps the later Frazer and Kaiser identities separate.
